No book of paintings by an artist who specializes in portraiture would be complete without one example of his work in this field. This portrait, reproduced here in part, is one of a former Governor of Michigan , who went on to become Military Governor of Bavaria. The six foot canvas now hangs in the Rotunda of the State Capitol at Lansing, Michigan.
